The recent JISC-funded joint Kultur project undertaken at the University for the Creative Arts, the University of the Arts and the University of Southampton, developed a model for a repository with diverse multimedia content, and enhanced access to work in the creative arts.

Library and Learning Services, University for the Creative Arts, now wishes to recruit to the newly created post of UCA Repository and Digitisation Officer.

You should be a graduate and have relevant professional experience and you will be familiar with the publishing environment and the development of subject and institutional repositories in the HE sector. The ability to communicate effectively across different cultures and environments is essential. Awareness of the research culture and of rights/IPR issues in the creative arts sector is also important.

This is an opportunity for someone wishing to further develop experience in the use of electronic databases within an HE library setting. It would suit a candidate with initiative who enjoys interacting and liaising with a wide-range of people.
