The presence of both the OGC Founder and Chairman, Professor David Schell and OGC CEO Mark Reichardt in the UK on July 17th provides an excellent opportunity to get an up-date on OGC activities, its globalisation plans and the workings of the new OGC Spatial Law and Policy Committee.

It also provides an opportunity to discuss the re-activation of the Forum and, as Mike Jackson and Steve Wallace will retire as the current Chairman and Secretary, to appoint new Forum officers. Nominations should be sent to Athina Trakas at atrakas@opengeospatial.org.

Jeremy Morley has kindly offered to host the meeting at University College London (Gower St) and an agenda for the meeting is attached. A number of people have already indicated their intention to attend the meeting and a registration web page has been established at
