event: The impact and influence of Web 2.0-based Services on e-Research

In this workshop will explore and discuss a range of services that have been initiated through the Web 2.0 arena, focusing on both the technologies and how they are used in e-research. Particular areas of interest are Cloud-based services, Mashups, Collaborative Environments, the Semantic Web, and various tools and utilities that are having an increasing impact and influencing the way users interact with the Web. This workshop will also investigate new technologies, components and services that are emerging and potentially changing the way users interact with the Web and Internet.

Target Audience
This meeting is intended for technical people involved in designing, developing, implementing and deploying Web 2.0-based services. We will be examining Clouds, Mashups, and a variety of tools and utilities that are used for interacting and collaborating.
