Planets will host the fourth in its series of three-day outreach and training events at The British Computer Society, London, on 9-11th February 2010. The event will explore the need to preserve digital content, the action that needs to be taken and the Planets approach to addressing these issues. The first day of the event will focus on the challenges of digital preservation and will introduce the Planets tools and services. On days two and three the delegates will gain hands-on experience of working with Planets tools to develop a preservation plan and preserve digital objects. The event will include plenty of opportunities for discussion, sharing ideas and best practice and to ask questions.
