Authors are invited to submit abstracts of unpublished, original work of not more than 3 pages of text using single spaced 10 point size on A4 pages - including 2 pages of text and (optionally) 1 of figures and tables. Authors should submit abstracts satisfying the formatting guidelines as a PDF file using the AHM2009 paper submission system which will be available shortly.
Authors are asked to submit to one of the following themes or as a 'general paper':
* Theme 1: Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities
* Theme 2: Medical and Biological Sciences
* Theme 3: Physical and Engineering Sciences
* Theme 4: Environmental and Earth Sciences
* Theme 5: Sharing and Collaboration
* Theme 6: Distributed and High Performance Computing Technologies
* Theme 7: Data and Information Management
* Theme 8: User Engagement
* Theme 9: Foundations of e-Science
This year, we would especially like to encourage industry collaborators to take a full part in the conference, including contributing to papers. Selected abstracts will be invited to submit full papers for consideration for inclusion in a special edition of the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A, and the best student paper will be awarded the Tony Hey prize.
